Hoi An to Dalat by motorbike

This tour can also start from Nha Trang

This tour Hoi An to Dalat by motorbike starts from Hoi An and ends in Dalat in the south-west of Vietnam.

DAY1: Hoi An_Kham Duc (145km)

Drive through the rice fields, stopping at the Cham tower and historic American war sites. We will then go along the Ho Chi Minh trail visit pineapple plantaions and enjoy it, then stopping for swimming and relaxing in the waterfall. Then continue into the highlands to visit the ethnic minority village. Then continue into the highlands where you can learn about the Civil War of  Vietnam before 1975 as well as enjoy the breath-taking nature of  the area,… reach to Kham Duc atound 5pm stay overnight in the small town. 
 Day2: Kham Duc_Kon Tum (180km)


Travel to  KonTum along highway 14, Ho Chi Minh trail, with beautiful scenic views, stopping for swimming and relaxing in the waterfall then along the way to visit other ethnic minority villages such as Tay, Nung, Ba Na,… to learn their traditions, customs, cultures. Continue following the HCM trail to visit the Wooden Church (was built by french from 1913 to 1918), and Rong house, stay overnight in Kon Tum.
 Day3: Kon Tum_Buon Me Thuot (225km) 
Leaving Kon Tum to Buon Me Thuot: explore the daily life of BaNa, Ede ethnic  minority village, learn more about their culture tradition,… visit ‘’ the Eyes of Pleiku’’ sea lake, rubber plantation, and then go to Buon Me Thuot visit the DakLak Museum, stay overnight in Buon Me Thuot.



Day4: Buon Me Thuot_Dray Sap_ Lak Lake (120km)
Travel to Dray Sap water fall (the biggest water fall in Vietnam) for relaxing and for swimming, then we visit the locals to learn how they process the coffee and taste the best coffee of Vietnam. In the afternoon we follow small roads to go to the Lak lake. Stay overnight in natural Lak lake where you can choose a resort or homrstay with some lovely locals. Probably drink beer with them.

Day5: Lak lake_Da Lat (165km)
Leaving Lak lake to Da Lat: you can ride elephant or boat (not included with the price)  to pass the lake to visit M’lieng ethnic minority village and then explore Jun village to learn more about the rural life of M’nong tribe about a hour. Stop on the mountain to see coffee plantations and beautifull nature, then head to Dalat and visit the Pren water fall,… come to Dalat.
Day6: Dalat_Nha Trang(135km)or Dalat city tour
Visit the flower garden, vegetable farms, Than Tho Lake before leaving Dalat to Nha Trang. Enjoy Vietnamese coffee in the local café, stop over at K’ho minority village to see local people, water fall before arrive in Nha Trang.

We will start in the early morning to visit My Son Holy land where we can see the first beautiful sunrises on  a new day, on the way we stop and visit the fish market which is one of main market center of Hoi An where the boats park and exchange the their goods after long catch from the Ocean, after that we will be follow the small roads onto My Son valley, developed from the 4th  to the 13th century. So far the technique in building the ancient temple-towers of ChamPa people remains controversial. The brick were smoothed and laid closely and securely without mortar. In december 1999, My Son  was recognized a World Heritage site by UNESCO. We will continue on to the local ferry and load the bike on the boat for the crossing of the Thu Bon River. You will feel immersed in nature while taking pictures before we head onto Cham towers of the Champa people built in the 11th century. relaxing and enjoy Vietnamese coffee before the trip back to Hoi An.

Day2: Prao to Hoi An (160km)

Visiting another village of ethnic Co Tu minorities where the culture and traditions remain untouched, to one of the most authentic hill tribes to remain in Vietnam. To continue adventures on HCM trail, through lush forests with a beautiful views of the center Vietnam mountains before arriving at a waterfall for swimming. In the afternoon, we will back to Hoi An, stopping to visit pineapple plantations and enjoy it (Seasonal), crossing the Thu Bon river by local ferry and riding on "floating bridge" enjoying picturesque of the sunset.

Day 1: Hoi An - Prao(150km)

Then we ride  through one of the longest and most stunning passes in Vietnam while travelling on a new and quiet road, through amazing scenery of primitive forests in the imposing Truong son mountain range.  you will be surprised with the jungle, mountains, and the quietness, peace and amazing views  across the famous Dakrong bridge on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, before to Khe Sanh.

Day 3: khe Sanh - Dmz - Hue (210km)

We will drive along Highway 9, through Carol Camp, Hien Luong bridge: known as the "Peace Bridge", a beam bridge built from steel by the French in 1950 which marks the border between North and South Vietnam before Here and Ben Hai river: an important landmark in the partition of the country into a northern and a southern zone along the 17th parallel by the Geneva Accords of 1954. We will then arrive at the Vinh Moc Tunnels, where an entire village went underground in the 1960 to survive the bombing, The complex of tunnels, located deep in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone, includes wells, kitchens, rooms for each family. After exploring the Vinh Moc tunnels, we’ll travel through the tunnel which leads us to the local beach here, where you are free to choose your lunch. After lunch, we will drive along the coast to Hue. On the way, we will visit the Quang Tri citadel which suffered 81 days and nights of fire bombing in 1972.

We will then riding along quiet roads, stop to see the mushroom farm make by rice straw, see farmers working with fresh air and beautiful scenery filling the senses and stop to take the pictures via city of tombs and Tam Giang lagoon with beautiful views.

Then we have Lunch on the floating Local Restaurant before off over Hai Van Pass. Which means "Sea and Clouds ", you will be literally surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views. Then head down to Da Nang riding along coast which has been voted as the most beautiful beach on the planet , stop visit the Marble mountain, where you can see the amazing caves before to Hoi An the end 4 days trip.

Tour Itinerary:

Day1: Hoi An - Hue (175km)

We will follow the small road through the rice fields to visit the Marble Mountains, explore caves, pagoda on the mountains and sculptures were made by hand from passion stone. We will then take you along the My Khe beach which has been voted as the most beautiful beach on the planet.  We will then travel through Hai Van Pass which means "Sea of Clouds"  you will be literally surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views.  from here where we can admire the beautiful panorama and enjoy a number of the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam. Then head down for lunch on a floating local restaurant,
After lunch, we will continue to Elephants springs where you can relax and swim. Depending on the weather, we can go along the An Bang beach and visit the City of Tombs or, if the weather does not permit, we will travel, instead, along Highway 1 and stop at the Fishing village at the Tam Giang lagoon, before arriving in Hue.

Day 2: Hue _Dong Hoi via DMZ(210km)

First stop is in Quang Tri citadel which suffered 81 days and nights of fire bombing in 1972. We will follow small roads through the countryside, crossing the ''floating bridge" then onto the Hien Luong bridge: known as the "Peace Bridge", a beam bridge built from steel by the French in 1950 which marks the border between North and South Vietnam before Here and Ben Hai river:  an important landmark in the partition of the country into a northern and a southern zone along the 17th parallel by the Geneva Accords of 1954. We will then arrive at the Vinh Moc


Tunnels, where an entire village went underground in 1960 to survive the bombing. The complex of tunnels, located deep in the
 Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone, include wells, kitchens and rooms for each family. After exploring the Vinh Moc tunnels we will pass through the tunnel that leads us to the local beach here. In the afternoon, we will drive along the HCM highway east to Dong Hoi.



Day 3: Dong Hoi - Phong Nha National Park(70km)

After breakfast, we will take you to the Phong Nha National Park with a day free to explore caves, including Asia's longest
limestone cave, and enjoy  traditional Vietnamese lunch at

 the local restaurant. In the afternoon, you can wander around and swim in the
Moc springs or walk in tropical forests.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh Trail (Phong Nha - Khe Sanh)(240km)

Driving along HCM highway western, we have a beautiful day to see many majestic
limestone karst and spectacular old-growth jungle. This road follows the original HCM
Trail through some of the most rugged terrain before going to Khe Sanh.

Day 5: Khe Sanh - Prao via Aluoi(220km)

Leaving Khe Sanh we come to the houses-on-stilts belonging to the ethnic minorities on the roads to Prao. We head out across the famous Dakrong bridge on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, near the town of Ta Rut we will visit the Pa Co minority people and walk through their village. Then we ride  through one of the longest and most stunning passes in Vietnam while travelling on a new and quiet road, through amazing scenery of primitive forests in the imposing Truong son mountain range.  you will be surprised with the jungle, mountains, and the quietness, peace and amazing views befoer to Prao town.

Day 6: Prao - Hoi An(150km)


On the last day riding, visiting another village of ethnic Co Tu minorities where the culture and traditions remain untouched, to one of the most authentic hill tribes to remain in Vietnam. To continue adventures on HCM trail, through lush forests with a beautiful views of the center Vietnam mountains before arriving at a waterfall for
swimming. before to back to Hoi An riding on "floating bridge" enjoying picturesque of the sunset.

Hoi An - Countryside & Monkey Mountain Explorers

We will visit the soothing Son Tra

Peninsula where you can admire the romantic beauty of natural paintings, majestic mountains, Ocean views and the forest. You will also have a wonderful photograph opportunities to admire the entire city of Da Nang and its long beaches under the morning fog lifting off the bay. Also known by the name of Monkey Mountain, Son Tra Peninsula is one of the few remaining places where the monkey species “Shacked Brown” exist. We will ride through large, green rice fields and some rural villages while experiencing unique sights and people.

Itinerary:

• We will follow the small road through rice fields to visit the Marble Mountains, explore caves, a mountain pagoda and sculptures made by hand from the local Passion Stone.
• We will then take you along the My Khe beach which has been voted one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet.
• Son Tra Peninsula is where we will stop next with an elevation of about 700m. It is truly a majestic, mystical place for a picnic with panoramic views of the islands and Danang city.
• From here we shall go down a picturesque winding mountain road, then stop at an ancient Cham tower. It was built in the 11th century but also is a historic American war site.
• On the way back to Hoi An, we will ride across the “floating bridge” and see local farmers working in their fields.
• We then continue riding through the fields and cross a challenging 300 meter bamboo bridge before enjoying magical views of the sunset and then head back to Hoi An.
